IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • You must be at least 21 years old to adopt.

  • Usually, we require adopters live in Los Angeles or within 4-hour driving distance but because of the low adoption applications lately, we are opening up adoptions to out-of-state adopters. However, you must be willing to fly out and meet the animal you are wishing to adopt first and travel with the animal back to your home. WE DO NOT SHIP ANIMALS.

  • In order to ensure the safety of our animals, you must be comfortable with conducting a virtual home-check (over FaceTime or Skype) or in-person home-check in which every member of your household must be present.

  • Most of our cats need to be adopted either in pairs or to homes that have other friendly cats/dogs (unless it is noted in the animal's profile). This ensures the cat has a lifelong companion when the human is not around and can prevent future behavioral issues arising out of boredom/frustration.

  •  Our adoption fee is $200 for a cat, $250 for a dog over 6 months of age, $350 for puppies under 6 months of age. If you are adopting two kittens as a pair, it is $150 each ($300 total). This includes at least one round of vaccines, microchipping, de-worming, testing for FeLV/FIV (for cats) spay/neuter, and a round of flea meds administered.

  • Our adoption fee does not cover the average cost of our rescues. We always provide any necessary medical care for the animals we take in, such as surgery for injuries or congenital problems, x-rays, blood panels, fecal tests, and treatment for upper respiratory infections and viruses. Donations above and beyond the adoption fee are greatly appreciated and help us continue to rescue animals most in need.

  • We do not have a facility. All of our animals are in various foster homes in Los Angeles. For the safety and privacy of our fosters, we do not allow meet and greets prior to adoption. We do our very best to accurately describe the animal's behavior and personality prior to adoption. We also allow for a one-week trial period to ensure the animal is a proper fit for you and everyone in your household.

  • Please note that due to the high volume of inquiries, you may not receive a response to your application.
