HONEY'S STORY

Honey is a gentle and loving German Shepherd who found her way to our care after her family faced challenges balancing their time with her needs. Once a cherished companion, Honey was relinquished when her owners realized they could no longer provide her with the attention and exercise she deserves. Despite the difficult transition, Honey remains hopeful and eager to bond with new friends. With her typical German Shepherd demeanor and loyal spirit, she is ready to embrace a new chapter in her life, seeking a forever home where she can thrive and share her unconditional love.

What are Honey's Needs?

Honey would do best in a home with another dog (large or small is fine) who can show her the ropes. While Honey is very smart, she is still learning confidence and has some room for improvement (dont we all!). She does so well on and off leash and even has excellent recall! She is crate trained and a very friendly pup with other dogs and is a regular at the Malibu dog Hotel for daily play dates and overnights stays. Honey is a typical German Shepherd in that alongside her protective instincts, she is also affectionate and devoted, forming strong bonds with her human companions. While Honey is great with small dogs, she is not suitable for a home with cats.
